On January 9-10, 2015, nearly 200 orthopaedic surgeons from around the world came to Arthrex's Medical Education Center in Naples, FL for the 2015 Faculty Forum, a two-day medical education event on Arthrex’s latest orthopaedic advancements. Faculty surgeons in attendance represented 41 U.S. states and 16 different countries, and included team physicians for a variety of top professional and collegiate sports teams such as: Super Bowl contenders the New England Patriots, LA Lakers, Detroit Lions, Phoenix Suns, Chicago Bulls, Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, University of Missouri and University of Connecticut Athletic Departments.Faculty are surgeons who have received in-depth, hands-on training on Arthrex products and surgical techniques in order to instruct other surgeons in the hundreds of medical education courses held at Arthrex labs and other venues around the world throughout the year. During the annual Faculty Forum event, surgeons learn about the latest innovations for improving patient care and participate in live surgical demonstrations and discussions on Arthrex's advances in orthopaedics, led by Arthrex faculty, product management and the medical education team.
